Meet Angela
Angela Oguna Oruoch, PE is the founder and principal consultant of 3RE Engineering LLC. With 15 years of specialized experience in electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, Angela has served as Engineer of Record and Lead Electrical Engineer on projects ranging from 15 kV switchgear overhauls at major wastewater treatment plants to greenfield reservoir and pump station facilities across the country.
Before founding 3RE Engineering, Angela served as a Senior Registered Electrical Engineer and Team Leader at Black & Veatch — one of the nation's leading engineering firms — where she led an eight-person electrical engineering team, managed multi-million dollar project portfolios, and mentored engineers through PE licensure. She brings that same rigor, discipline, and personal investment to every 3RE engagement.
Angela is passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers. She actively mentors K–12 and collegiate students and welcomes speaking engagements at schools, universities, and professional events — sharing her journey, her expertise, and her belief that engineering is one of the most meaningful careers a young person can pursue.
